Dear ______________,

I am writing to invite you to attend “Washington - A Man of Prayer – 2016” on Wednesday evening, April 27, 2016 6:30 -8:30pm, in Statuary Hall.

Members of Congress and Christian leaders will be commemorating the 227th anniversary of President George Washington’s inauguration and will honor our first president as a man of faith. Prayers will be offered for our President and his Cabinet, the Supreme Court and its Justices, the members of Congress, and our great nation. This year the Honorary Hosts are Representative Randy Forbes and Senator James Lankford.

As one of your constituents, I am requesting your presence at this non-partisan event for members of Congress.  It will be broadcast via satellite and webcast to homes and churches across America.

Thank you for honoring our first President and following his example by offering a prayer to God on America’s behalf.

If voting is taking place that evening you may vote and return.

Thank you for your service to our great country. It is appreciated.
